Isn't he on something like £300k a week? Utd are going to have to help out on that front if they want to sell him, or accept a hit on the transfer. Not sure I can see a huge profit coming their way regarding him, unless there is another club as bad as utd out there at buying 🤣
I read that it is £325,000 a week until 2028.
No one is going to match that in order for the man himself to be tempted away. He might choose to stay and keep taking the pay unless Man U give him a huge wedge to leave.
He is a big loss already as he is under-used and under-performing. Can't see why Man U would choose to increase that loss with a big cash loss when there is still a chance that he could yet be useful again sometime in the next 3 to 4 years.
He is the same age now as when Vardy made his Premiership debut - and that was as a second half sub.

I think he only just signed for Sporting last year, and had a £100 million release clause. 26 years old, and before that played for Coventry.

His numbers at Sporting are fantastic, but is £100 million worth the risk, or a mistake than people will use like they did against ETH, signing ex players?

We had him ready to sign when he left Coventry and our chief executive went on holiday, the original banter club.

That's a good point about the ex players thing, but I think this guy is the real deal, his next move is going to be a big one.

He is a quality finisher but they have spent over £100mil on Hojlund and Zirkee so can’t see them spending another £100mil on him

Hojlund has the potential

Watching this game feels like a battle of the fallen giants

I can't believe how anti-United Gary Neville seems to be.

Neville ?! 😂😂😂

Must be Phil Neville

To be fair, some of the Chelsea interplay in the first half was very slick. All came to nothing when they get to the edge of the area though.

Utd.........yeah, nothing there

Some of the play was good but just powder puff

And what is Rashford complaining about 😂

And that looks a clear penalty - not sure why he went for it
