Murillo will leave in the summer, I think most Forest fans have accepted that. But the eleventy-seventy bajillion dollars we are paid for him will hopefully mean we aren’t forced to accept offers for others. Especially if we continue our trajectory.

I’m starting to dare to dream. Haven’t felt this way about Forest since 94/95.

I absolutely get your point.....but..........have you seen the Newcastle goal yet? Proper wingers cross from Gordon, right foot on the right side, Isaak with a proper CF header 😍. Great goal.
Have you seen the clip of Shearer sat at the side of Ian Wright when Newcastle scored. It’s quality. Shearer says “a proper 90’s wingers cross”. Suffice to say Ian Wright didn’t look happy.

Yes out all day.
Proper CFs goal that.
But to prove my point you don’t see many of them.

Back in the day Toshack , shearer Stapleton we’re knocking them in every week.😉

There is no reason why the team can’t keep it up and challenge for European spots , obviously injuries will have a say but would be good to see Forest in Europe and maybe that might keep players an extra season

Murillo is going to cost a fair whack - happy to see him replace VVD

Loads of talk in the press about how many players Man Utd are going to sign and how much they are going to spend. As they only just crept into the FFP limits this year, I’m not sure how they can afford to bring anyone in without selling loads - and who is going to pay top rate for most of the squad?

I don’t see any top team going in for any of their squad.
Maybe Mainoo, but surely they want to keep him.
First thing I’d be doing is trying to get Rashford out of the place & getting a proper captain.

Going to be tough to not sell at a lose unless they want to sacrifice someone like Rashford who gives them pure profit

United are linked with players every transfer window, every time they change manager, every time they have a poor result. So most of the time.

I have long just said I’ll believe the rumours when I see the player in a United shirt, not before.

Isn't he on something like £300k a week? Utd are going to have to help out on that front if they want to sell him, or accept a hit on the transfer. Not sure I can see a huge profit coming their way regarding him, unless there is another club as bad as utd out there at buying 🤣

We are currently linked with about 7 different managers, to replace Dyche once the takeover has gone through. It's just nonsense to fill the media gaps, as it is with those players you describe.

As you say, you believe it when the deal has been signed, not before.

Someone like PSG would be happy to throw some money for him but beyond him I can’t see them getting too much for the likes of Antony , Sancho, Maguire etc

Can easily see them not buying anyone in January, unless a bargain left back becomes available.

I reckon the new manager will get the rest of the season to coach the current squad, and then everyone can discuss what is required next summer. And even then, it'll have to be a measured approach.

If you trust the press rumours, Utd would be spending £2 billion every window on about 30 new players

Gyokeres from Sporting would be a great signing for you lot.

I think he only just signed for Sporting last year, and had a £100 million release clause. 26 years old, and before that played for Coventry.

His numbers at Sporting are fantastic, but is £100 million worth the risk, or a mistake than people will use like they did against ETH, signing ex players?
