You see that's the issue. Against Everton pretty much everyone thinks the last decison was incorrect so 1 error, the other 2 are correct. In every game there are decisions made that both teams disagree with both with Var and by the Ref. Now the absolute stinkers are less but again Forest haven't been the worst, there are other teams out there like Wolves who have had even worse decisions against them. Forest are no better or worse than half teh teams in the division but hey victim alert here.

You sacked Cooper and brought in a new manager who has achieved absolutely nothing, both my kids are Wolves supporters and love Nuno but they think since leaving them he has done very little. Forest, the owners, the management teams and the players have really failed this season with the amount of money spent, players bought and manager sacking but lets blame a decision or 2 in VAR as if it would make any difference.

As an Everton supporter personally I think it's a disgrace we got 8 points and Forest only got 4 for a bigger discrepancy, I should be shouting, cheat, corruption, unfair, victim here. But no we knuckled down and dealt with it, Forest are like that player that dives and rolls around on the floor hand in the air looking for a free kick while the other team goes down the other end and scores.

Most people had an affection for Forest dating back to Clough and their exploits but now all i hear is hope they go down, can't stand them. I wonder why

FWIW, I happen to agree with most of your overall sentiments of your two posts about Forest's situation. Myself and I think most Forest fans will fully admit we've had plenty of onfield issues as well as off-field ones which have caused us to be where we are.

There have been a load of shocking refereeing decisions as well, which get brought into the conversation and shouted about. (Not going to go back into them here) But when you couple them with the statement put out by our big crazy owner after the Everton game, the narrative becomes "Forest fans only think they are where they are because of VAR versus Everton and one or two other decisions". Which isn't really a true reflection of the situation - and was the reason for me just putting a laughing emoji in response to your first post.

Bit in bold though. You may not be one of them, but I've seen plenty of Everton fans doing exactly that this season - especially when it was announced that we "only" got a four point deduction. But prior to that, I did see quite a lot of solidarity between the fanbases of Forest and Everton over the subject of points deductions. Plenty of Toffees have been holding up "Corrupt Premier League" signs at your games and you appealed both points deductions. So I'm not sure you can exactly take the high road and say you just "knuckled down and dealt with it". You've gone a bit quieter on it all now that you're safe from relegation - and good on you for that. I hope we can join you.

and it's meant that we've become the most hated team in the league (which I personally couldn't really care less about), and makes us look ridiculous - when actually it could have been handled in a much more mature way - and would have made a difference without looking like whiny victims.
Sure, Forest haven't won many fans lately, thus for me personally I'd rather they went down than Luton (a club I also know very little about, but have just grown to quite like them this year)

But, most hated? Na, not for me. Liverpool will always win that award for me :)

I was at the Everton game at the city ground and they all bought their pre-made "CORRUPT" cards that they held up proudly at the start of the game.

Tommy Robinson being a Luton Town fan is enough for me to know they need to get straight back down into the Championship. :)

(FWIW - I said in August they'd stay up, as I knew how good Rob Edwards is from his days at Forest Green one of my local clubs)

Also I don't know if anyone's been bothered enough about this whole drama to listen to the "VAR Audio" from the Everton Forest game...but in what world does anyone with eyes (except Stuart Attwell) come to the conclusion that CHO getting wiped out from behind is "mutual coming together" and a "tussle"...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Honestly, how is the bloke considered one of the best refs in the country?

Wiped out from behind is equally inaccurate.
A foul yes, but just a tap. The truth is somewhere in the grey area between wiped out from behind and a mutual coming together.

Not much to beat tbf.

Yea, fair point - "Taken out" might have been a bit more appropriate.

Either way - nothing which Attwell described was close to the actual footage he was watching.

Can I start a conspiracy and say that it sounds as though the audio has been recorded after the event? In all other recordings that I've listened to there have been other voices speaking in the background. Unless I missed it in this one there's only one voice heard.

Please, no more conspiracies :)

I'm actually impressed the referees and assistant referees are constantly talking to each other whilst ball is in play. I'd be knackered, and would just focus on blowing the whistle if I needed to, or raising flag. Then communicate with colleagues when there is a break in play.

I thought this but didn't want to say anything as I'm not exactly impartial to the situation :)

“Mutual engagement” made me chuckle.

I had a bit of “mutual engagement” with the wife last night! 🤣🤣🤣

Don’t really watch much of Real Madrid, but Bellingham in the CL games I’ve seen as been pretty average tbh.
Thoughts?
My lads thoughts on watching him v City. He was massively unimpressed. Said after 75 mins he was out on his feet.
