True, but it is meant to be in the same moment or movement. He doesn't look remotely impacted by it though, unlike Diaz in the first half which was also slightly delayed but was linked to the contact. Jota felt it, wasn't impacted, thought about it, threw himself down.

Sorry, didn’t realise there was a rule saying going To ground had to be in the same moment or movement

According to the ref and VAR he didn’t dive or cheat

Oh well that's alright then because we all know that refs and VAR are always right. I assume that you had no problem earlier in the season when the Liverpool goal against Spurs was disallowed for offside because the ref and VAR also came to that decision.

Listening to the commentary, how EH was able to sub Jolinton they didn't know....the ref should have sorted that ages ago they thought
I suspect if he had been booked earlier than Howe would have subbed him earlier. One went with the other.

Equally, Joelinton could keep making his tackles because he knew he hadn't been booked. If he was on a yellow he may have approached things differently. You can't simply say his yellow in the second half should have meant red, unless your a radio pundit getting excitable 😄

VAR said he was onside so they didn’t agree!

Eddie howe moaning about minimal contact but wanted a penalty on longstaff for minimal contact
You’re having a mare on this thread tonight. Clear lack of understanding that football is a contact sport and now you don’t understand why a manager would want his team to be given penalties that the other team get.

I know football is a contact sport and the keeper made contact with Jota

I was pointing out the hypocrisy of
Eddie Howe

Maybe he should have chosen a few frames later, both arms pointed at the sky and ankles together like a true diver.

Stills never tell a full story
Let’s be honest here only one man knows if it’s a dive and thats Jota.!

It looks terrible imo but that’s all it is our opinions!

For me why not just score ??

Plus he’s a City fan and is very used to seeing diving of the highest calibre.😉
