I saw a thing on sky this week that said Bruno had created THE most chances in the prem. I was gobsmacked.

I’m torn between the defensive injuries and lack of striker but I just don’t know what ETH can do to make things better .

I don’t miss many games and I have to question that stat. Just what do they mean by “chance” because United simply aren’t creating clear chances? They’re just not. Hojlund gets the occasional half chance at best.

The defensive injuries are a huge issue. I believe that’s the TENTH centre back pairing we’ve started in eighteen games. Not many sides can suck up that sort of inconsistency at the back and still get results.

I’m not sure another striker is the answer, apart from maybe taking some of the pressure off Hojlund. Because another striker won’t paper over the cracks - those either side and behind a front man just aren’t doing enough. Not even close.

Separate from what?
we were debating if it was handball?
Yes. But if you read the post I was responding to. I explained why VAR didn't give it, and then the response was why it didn't give a free kick.

That was simply the context of my post. I've only seen one quick video of it, so not much view on it being a handball or not, especially as handball is just given randomly these days anyway

Agree. If the referee had given the pen I don’t think VAR would have overturned his decision.
Just seen the replay of Ogegards handball.
If he dosnt handle it Mo is away in the area.
How is that not handball, it’s a joke.
Just making it up as they go along.
Cant wait for the excuses.

Lots of huff and puff but lacking attacking quality so far.

Agreed. Commentators waxing lyrical about the match. End to end - virtue mainly of giving the ball away. What it is though is a good watch as both teams are trying to win. The park the bus mentality is as ruinous to football as VAR imho.

Oh and definitely a penalty. Arsenal look like they've put the wrong studs in - football on ice!

So Chelsea have spend millions. Got some talented players. A very good manager who is highly regarded

They sit 8 points below us

We have spent a fraction of what they have and topped Europa group

Yet you want Moyes gone?

Some of this football is the best we have ever played. The goal today , the pass from paquata was outstanding

Or would you prefer to lose every game 3-2

Who out there would you replace him with.

Its only a few fans who think he needs to go but they are the most vocal

Same people called for big Sam's head when , with very little money, he got us firing up the table. We were 4th one Xmas but got zero investment In January..

Then he left and bilic got backed to bring in lanzini, payet.. some really sparks.. he got found out in second season. Same with MP, we weren't good enough for him to succeed.

It happens every couple years a few of our fans get greedy expect us to be thrashing teams then we sack a good manager who's doing ok and end up in a relegation battle

Before Moyes we never got in the groups of europe.

With Moyes we have been to one semi. Won one. And now topped the group

Give me that over another relegation battle

I can’t be arsed arguing with you as you are never wrong but it’s far from a few.

This BBC article probably sums it up…

Fair result I think
But we should have had a pen.
Our front three were not very good .
Very rarely see Liverpool give the ball away so much.

Still think we need a proper goal scorer.

TAA what a miss just hit the target.

Yes can’t remember either keeper making a save of any note.

I also think you're missing a central midfielder who can play the right pass and has composure. I don't watch Liverpool every week but looking at the Man Utd and Arsenal games, I'm stunned Szoboszlai is starting. Not sure I've seen someone make the wrong pass, at the wrong time, with the wrong weight or give the ball away so often when in dangerous positions. He just makes your whole attack so scatty and desperate IMO. Obviously Nunez isn't upto it. It's now 18 months and he's shown no signs of improving. He's got something there but clubs like Liverpool can't give people 3-4 years to come good. A couple of good signings and you win the league by 10 points. As it stands, can't see you finishing Top 2. VVD is back to his best though, looked very good recently.

Sadly VAR impacted the game more than any of the football. Cast iron penalty in the first half, just amazing how it wasn't given. Every week numerous blatent mistakes and no excuse for them. Shameful.

I'm not sure who we'd pick ahead of him? The quality in attack, all throughout the team is woeful
Sancho? If ETH hadn't frozen him out and caused another bust up? Not that I rate Sancho and his attitude but he's a much better player than Antony. The problem is ETH wants a winger to defend first, rather than attack.

Isn't It because his real position is attacking midfielder but that was KDB so he played his other position
Zinchenko is one of those players that when he is on it he is undroppable. His last game for City v Villa showed that. But you have to wait another 20 games for that to happen. He is never an attacking midfielder certainly not Prem level. Him and Jesus going was a fantastic deal for City which weakened our rivals.

The article is quoting the YouTuber who went on 5 live

Moyes just 6 months ago gave us one of the greatest days in our clubs history

Since then we are 6th in the table, and topped Europa group

If we were in a relegation battle and out of Europa you could understand the moaning more

But all the fans that moan just come across impatient and entitled

Prime example

Can't believe pay good money and are disappointed with these results at home

Agree Nunez .
cant agree Szob I think what’s in front of him is half the problem.

We gave the ball away so much it was shocking.

Give up on VAR if they can’t see that they should scrap it.!
