Kane walks into every team in them Prem other than city imo.
Maybe Real would also be interested next seen if he’s available for free.

I do not get it either, they have the best option that they will get in the circumstances, a big fee and Kane not going to a rival club. Cannot see a better option than that. I guess the hope is that Spurs will win a cup this season and get him to sign a new deal. I think with the Bayern situation and the previous issue when he wanted to go to City, if a deal is not done before next weekend, he will walk on a free irrespective

I think it makes more business sense to keep Kane , without him it’s going to be very difficult to compete, he will be hoping with Kane and the new manager we at least will have a outside chance of getting top four and the money that generates will be worth the gamble of keeping him.

Levy will not let him go unless he gets the money he wants from Bayern, and I think they will walk away from the deal.

Exactly. Seemingly only Spurs fans understand. He's not a commodity, he's Harry f'n Kane. He can't be replaced for any sum of money so he should be kept for as long as possible!

But this time next year he walks for nothing. I and others do not understand why Levy would risk that, when by sanctioning a sale he would generate the funds to invest in a new striker.

It’s a huge gamble, hoping that Spurs win a trophy, or make it into the top four, as a means of generating the sort of money they could raise simply by selling their prized asset.

I ‘get’ what you’re saying, and each place in the table is worth £2.2m + a top 4 place brings in mega bucks. Is he the difference between competing for 4th, and 10th if you don’t have him? That’s £13m difference + CL mega bucks. Sell for £100m, and come 10th? Keep him but come 5th, no CL but pick up £10m diff in league position?

But how much does the new ground repayments cost? And how would a risk averse bank view an application for the next loan? It’s a huge risk, but if Levy says that’s the plan, so be it.

What alternative would be available, even if Spurs would spend 60+ Million of that Kane money? Bayern doesn't seem to have an alternative idea for their 100 million either.

So apparently Alvarez of Mexico signs soon, yes please

Bids in for maigure and mctominay

I'd take both of them please. Maguire suits Moyes teams and he needs to leave united

Solankie linked aswell. I'd take him aswell

Would be pleased with those 4 plus a left back

Looks like the 4-0 tonking by Leverkusen might have loosened the purse strings!

If we get them, then that’s the Rice and Scamacca monies spent, I wonder if Sullivan is going to put any more in?

He won't, the Czech might

Nothing to do with Leverkusen tho, they even said before the game we had done a few strong training sessions to get ready for season so would be a bit leggy (which showed)

Signings just take time, plus clubs want us to pay more for the rice money they know we have

Id personally of paid the money sooner but that's why I don't have millions

If it's true you have to question players .. we have Europa , that's still a decent level of football and if he rates himself that likely say I want an extra 20k a week if we qualify for champs league .. IE I'll help you win Europa

Back yourself rather than overate yourself

With my dad and with mates we try and predict the full Prem table every year. This year I'm finding the bottom half particularly difficult. Basically there are about 9 teams that I want to put in the bottom 5. No matter who I put in 12th, they always look too high up.

My current thinking is this:
1. City - 2. Liverpool - 3. United - 4. Arsenal
5. Newcastle - 6. Villa - 7. Chelsea - 8. Spurs
9. Brighton - 10. Brentford - 11. Fulham - 12. Burnley
13. Palace - 14. Everton - 15. West Ham - 16. Forest
17. Bournemouth - 18. Sheff Utd - 19. Wolves - 20. Luton

Anyone from 12 down could definitely get relegated though. There's always one promoted team that does extraordinarily well, so I'm just putting my chips on it being Burnley this time.
