He's a very solid replacement for Gundogan though. I think you could get more out of Rice going forward in a better team than West Ham.

Foden slots back in as a starter if both Mahrez and Silva go - so no loss to first team talent really IMO but theyll need some more depth.

One things for sure - if I'm Rice, I'm waiting to see if City do bid... No doubt of winning trophies there.

Getting tickets for games since Covid and ETH’s appointment has become nigh on impossible, even for club members.

It doesn’t surprise me. I nearly went to Paris without a ticket last year. Living in Kent it’s almost easier to get to than Liverpool!

I’m unbelievably glad I didn’t go.

While I have strong opinions on City’s funding and owners, the idea that fans are punished at the biggest games consistently through lack of proper organisation and sheer greed from UEFA is abhorrent and disgusting. The game has not been about fans for a very long time and all uefa do is prove it time and time again. They simply do not care.

What do we need a new thread for? This has been going for three years or so. I never understood why there was a new thread each season before.

When you want to call someone out for being a hypocrite, it's much easier to find what they said two years ago if it's all in the same thread.

He will replace Gundegon- Rice has developed a lot more over the years and would work well alongside Rodri

He's a far better player than Phillips is though. He would get a game.

Phillips made a weird move and is paying the consequences - but I'm sure earning and learning plenty in the process.
