Just so many problem areas it's a bit of joke. Hopefully we get Raya over the line to sort the goalkeeper problem. We're just woefully short of adequate defenders, I'm not sure how this has been allowed to happen. The centre of midfield looks alright, but word is Ange will play an attacking 4-3-3 and the only two options for the attacking role are two players who have been stuck out on loan and never impressed for us. Can't see us signing Maddison to be honest. Perisic will leave I think, and Gil was useless, so with Lucas and Danjuma having gone, we're woefully short in attack as well. Even if Kane doesn't go, let alone if he does!

I shouldn't have done this, it actually looks a lot more depressing now I've put it on paper.

I know youre trying to sort a deal for Kulusevski but he's not even a spurs player atm... :ROFLMAO:

Classic spurs not happy with a pretty cheap price tag already and trying to get him cheaper....

I don't think we can afford not to sign him at this point? There's so much other work that needs to be done that we just need to tick that Kulusevski box and move on!

I agree... you need to go get him - but classic Levy is playing silly games with the money.

I think the price was reported around £25-30m - which isn't half bad for a player whos proven he can do it in the prem IMO..

Meanwhile I'm waiting on Villa to sign someone else..

We need RB depth for sure, maybe a new CB and 100% a new RW player.

Striker also needed for depth but that may come in the form of Archer... who knows

Man United have retained Mason Greenwood this summer.

Maybe he is on his way back - or in line to be sold somewhere of course!

I believe he was 4th in the league for key chances created last season and that was with us at saints.
imo it’s the opposite and he’s actually better than people realise because he’s labelled a free kick merchant.

May have no choice. Contract in place and so if they cannot move him on (assuming they want to) then they are stuck unless they want to pay him out of his contract (maybe the right decision but not a good business one).

The iinteresting thing will be how sponsors react if he gets back in the first team. That may trigger a reaction

You might be right there. If convicted that likely would have voided his contract, but as he wasn't they would have to pay him off if he has years to run. Better to keep him on gardening leave and see if someone will pick him up for free.

I suspect that they have to keep him in training and treat him like all of the other players as he has not been found guilty of anything. Sadly there were enough 'fans' on social media who wanted him back in the shirt even before charges were dropped.
