..................... and now we have the mighty Wout Weghorse!

All joking aside he holds the ball up better than anyone else we have. Rashford has had an absolute stinker all afternoon. Really poor.

City showing again just how far ahead of United they are. Our squad depth is absolutely miles behind theirs. Depressing, really.

Can't remember seeing so many 50/50 challenges being bottled by professional footballers.

I’ve said it times, and I’ll say it again. For all of Rashford’s goals this season I still find him infuriating to watch.

What I’d give to see a striker at the club with a bit of fight about him. When Rashford loses the ball, which he does repeatedly in games when he is not playing well, he just seems to throw his arms in the air and give up. And don’t get me started on him going to ground and staying there when he’s on the receiving end of an innocuous challenge.

In games when United are second best they desperately need someone up top who can hold the ball up and bring runners into play. Rashford is 100% not that player. Never has been.

Well played City. The outcome was never really in doubt and my hopes were not high before a ball was even kicked. But I hate losing big games when United simply haven’t turned up.

He’s had a stinking 2nd half of the season, for a professional sportsman his work rate and desire at times is shocking.

Totally agree. I think the BBC showed some stats earlier which back up what you say - he has had a season of two halves in many respects.

All in all, if you’d offered me top four, a trophy and another final back in August, especially after Brentford away, I’d have chewed your arm off. A good first season for Ten Hag who, I have absolutely no doubt, has set out in very clear terms what the club now needs if they are to build on the start he has made.

Going to be an interesting summer.

I've got a couple of thoughts on him/about him.

Firstly, when he was spending all his time getting involved in school meals etc his football was shocking.... It's almost like being a footballer came second to him. Then this season he seems to have sorted himself out and looked like the player we thought he could be.

But also, I remember a manager talking about how some players can play through "pain" and others just don't cope.... To me rashford seems to fall very firmly under the doesn't cope category.

To me his biggest weakness is between the ears.

Difficult to disagree

Well am back in the room and am not gonna lie Ave shed a few tears. Didn’t help when me Bessie pal in Italy rang me 10 secs before the final whistle. He is an Inter Milan Fan.

i said it 3 hours ago, not impressed with the officials, but bottom line I thought the best team won.

Re Utd, got to say they are going in the right direction and are in a lot better place than the start of the season. As a City fan, chuffed to bits they never started with Garnacho. Why? Why? Why not 😳

Re City, always a good day when we beat the rags and Ave had a squeaky bum day.

On the double Cokes and Flora Di Cana.

Tash is gonna be a mess in an hour. Life’s good Amanda.

Ave gone from a supporter who conceded the title in December to a fan who is looking at a treble.
Cheers pep and City.

He made a tiring Walker look almost ordinary pace-wise. Thought Akanji was immense and Stones too. Rodri looked a shadow of himself but still had the heart to make last ditch challenges. The team spirit seems perfect. Jack needs to let things go as don't think he ever got over the penalty. Well he clearly didn't as he was quick to mention it afterwards. I agree with him 100% though...

I've said it before - I love, love, love Pep
