I don't think that grealish's arm was in an unnatural position, so not a clear and obvious error.
Goals are too important and rare in football to be given away for this sort of nonsense.
Additionally, I'd forgotten what an unpleasant, snidey bunch yernighted were. Hard to like 'em and I don't.

Whether City win of lose I am bloody livid with the officiating today.
As a neutral, I'm not seeing any issues.
That handball may not have been a penalty in previous years, but in 2023 that's the rules.
A penalty for an unintentional handball offends me a lot less than one where the attacker throws a leg out then dives while looking back at the ref. Both these teams have "earned" a few of those this season.

They are merely applying the current. (albeit ridiculous), laws of the game.
It is those you should be livid with.

I really like Eriksen, and haven't been a huge fan of Mount in past. Although, in a game like this, I feel a Mount in Eriksen's place would provide some much needed energy.

And not having a striker up front who is decent at looking after the ball is always a bit of a killer.

1-1 at half time is very welcome as far as I'm concerned.

Having nobody to hold the ball up means we cannot relieve the pressure. It’s fine De Gea going long if the ball sticks but it’s just coming straight back at us - there’s simply no outlet.

Perfect practice match for next week against Inter (y)

I hate what football has become and hate myself for still getting so emotional about it.

How VAR doesn't do anything about Casemeiro trying to break Akanji's ankle is beyond me. What angered me more is how he screamed in agony to deflect from what he'd done. It comes so naturally to cheat.

The penalty is a joke and I'd like to see anyone jump for a header, twist in mid air...all with their hands behind their back.

And how Silva intentionally kicked out at Shaw and wasn't sent off.

A day of sob stories :)
