Fair enough really. Not a three point performance from us by any stretch.

Who is this idiot co-commentator who keeps saying "Tottenham Hotspurs"? 🙄

Yawn. 99% of players instinctively go down like that when they've been struck in the face to make sure the referee sees it or that VAR has a look. Are we not past the point of talking about it every time? It's such a non-issue it's up there with players appealing for throw-ins that they know aren't theirs. It's just commonplace.

As for Spurs, I'm just wondering what the point was of sacking Conte if you're going to give the role to his assistant, who plays the exact same formation and style that wasn't working before. Don't sack the manager unless you've got the new one lined up - the energy is at an all time low.

Or not in Bruno Fernandes' case.

Appointing the assistant suggests the board dont have a plan to me.

Perhaps it’s about time any player who “claims” a head injury should be made to leave the pitch for a HIA check. It might catch the real ones who continue when they shouldn’t, and also stop the exageration often seen when having their face brushed by a short sleeve.

Amazingly, there was even less in that tete-a-tete than there was in the Joshua fight...embarrassing :cautious:

Being hit in the mouth or eye isn't the same as a head injury is it?

Maybe it’s time for the players own fans to actually condemn the actions of their players

Kane made a meal of it as he does a lot - it’s not the first time and it won’t be the last time.

Instead of just brushing it off condemn it

The red card was the right result and it would have happened without the Oscar performance - Kane should have been shown the yellow as well

Why would I condemn it? The other chap hit him in the face - condemn that maybe? It's nothing to do with Kane, every Premier League player goes down when they're hit in the face. Maybe it's time people like just accepted that. It's not 1985 anymore I'm afraid. If you don't like it, modern football isn't for you.

This was a million miles away from being the worst example as well, it's just blown out of proportion as usual because it's Kane. He actually was struck in the face, it's not up there with the likes of Bruno who go down under no real contact.

Kane was yellow-carded, by the way. More likely for the scuffle that led to him being hit in the face though.

So they're all a bunch of pussies who should all be carded for ungentlemanly conduct.
