Boehly is playing football manager , they maybe spending a lot of money but whoever is picking the players clearly doesn’t have a clue - I haven’t met many Chelsea fans who are impressed by him. Sacking Tuchel was a joke , bringing in Potter was a massive risk

It cost them £13mil to pay of Tuchel

Then £21mil to get Potter and potentially the pay off to Potter now could be £50mil !!!

If I was a gambling man I would suggest Chelsea have ditched Potter in order to try and beat Spurs to Nagelsmann.

Potter to Leicester would seem a decent fit, and certainly more forward thinking than the alleged favourite, Rafa Benitez.

Going to be an interesting few days. And I’m going to need to rethink my Super 6 as the fixtures will be awash with new manager bounce 🙄

Wouldn’t surprise me to see him going in at Leicester - seems a very good fit

Think I’d be more worried about about who’s picking liverpools signings if I was you, they don’t seem too interested in midfielders 😬

Leaving us free to go for potter in the summer after the poor bloke has had a break from having his reputation smashed by going to Chelsea

Well I watched a great game yesterday. Brighton v Brentford. Was at the Amex and Brighton were a joy to watch. They, as usual, dominated the game and if it wasn't for Brentfords keeper it could easily have been 6-3!
As usual Brighton didn't get the credit they deserved on MOTD!

Brighton play some lovely football. I always enjoy watching them.

As for David Raya, I would not be in the least bit surprised to see him end up at Old Trafford. He’s been turning in some very, very impressive performances.

Yep, it wouldn't surprise me either. He's a great keeper - he seemed to be in the right position every time. I'm sure he'll be snapped up pretty soon.

I agree (I'm WHU). Thought we were dreadful and Southampton marginally better. Was a truly awful game though, I can't imagine having to sit through it of you didn't have any supporting interest.

Terrible 1st 20 minutes, constantly giving away possession and negative tactics was getting the crowd agitated. We get a goal then instead of finishing a poor side off we stand off them and keep them interested up till the end. 😩

Absolute classic Moyesball.

Potter to Tottenham might not seem too bad on the face of it. Particularly after Chelsea have made him a multimillionaire 😂😂😂😂😂
I would take him. Obviously Chelsea was an abject failure, but I don't think it was easy for him when every time he turned up at training there was another new player there. Spurs would be more akin to what he was doing at Brighton, and a smaller step up in terms of his adjustment.

I’m just not convinced by Potter. He has always struck me as the sort of manager who needs to be managing a Brighton, Leicester or West Ham. No disrespect intended to any of those clubs, you understand, but they are smaller clubs which don’t have quite the same media circus following them.

I just don’t see Potter at a “big” club. He was an extremely odd appointment at Chelsea, made by an owner who simply doesn’t have a clue how to run a Premier League football club.

The only surprise is that is has taken this long for the club to do what was inevitable almost from the day Potter first walked through the door.

Well once Kane goes to United this summer those are the type of clubs we'll be competing with anyway. You're right that him going to Chelsea was too big a leap, you need a manager there who's used to managing big squads of big-money players. We're not quite that though - we just have a great stadium really.

Releived I won't hear Graham Pottter's Chelsea any more, or Chelsea, Graham Potter's side.
However soon I could be hearing all about Graham Potter's Leicester City.

Apparently Potter as rejected Leicester.
Would it have affected his pay off from Chelsea if he’d taken the job?
I wonder if there are clauses, bonus payments etc that could affect it 🤔. Makes sense. How long does he have to wait...........

Leicester would be a good fit I think but perhaps he wants to wait until the end of the season. There may be jobs at West Ham and Spurs available as well.

Might want to see who is still in the division. I doubt he wants to drop a division if he can help it and it's getting late on in the season to keep a sinking ship from going down. (I'm not putting the boot into Leicester there, that applies to any team in that bottom 10 who are on a bad run at this point)
