Anthony Taylor at his utter worst again lol, hows that not a card
I appreciate it is a game of subjectivity, but I agree. That was about as clear a yellow as you could hope to see. He has basically decided he doesn't want to give a red, as I'm sure he'd have booked anyone else. Which isn't right.

Zero subjectivity hes made a horror decision to keep it 11 vs 11, since when does getting to the ball matter for yellow card offenses which seemed to be his excuse

Supposedly our best ref and completely bottles a big decision

If I was Frank Id be hooking Lukic at ht mind

He should be banned right now Imo - he admitted the guilt so should be an immediate ban until at the very least Jan

Yep no doubt that previously Nunez has struggled finishing chances and when they happen he was rightly critical of that , but when he plays well you would expect that the pundits in the studio would highlight that just as Carragher has in the past with Martinez when he pretty much wrote him off but admitted he was wrong.

Neville was gone , Carragher got to him during the commentary and he let his bias emotions get in the way of any sort of balanced reviews and in the end he looked like a spoilt kid with even Kelly Cates cutting him off. It’s why I think he shouldn’t be around for these games - watching MOTD2 and also the MNF they showed a lot of the tactical stuff and the good stuff that Liverpool did which actually helped create the early goals and made Utd look bad

In my defence I watched the first half and saw the second Liverpool goal at the start of the second half before I went out to dinner for my son's birthday so I missed the next 5 goals and all of the post match discussions so I can't comment on what Carragher/Neville said or did after the match and haven't seen MOTD2 or the build up to MNF. Man Utd were poor for the first 20 minutes of the first half and even though I didn't see most of it they must have been poor in the second half to concede six more. How much of that was down to Liverpool doing things well or Utd just being poor I can't comment on.

I like one more than most so i have no probs with them having a bet, but have it on la liga or the bundesliga or the champs league or a horse or a dog, not on a Brentford game your playing in!

I put a couple of bets on for a mate who was playing League 1 or 2 at the time. Champs League, 1st goal scorer while watching in the pub type of bet.

I can’t really understand why they can’t have accounts but be told to follow specific regulations and then know the punishment if they stray. Not like my mate could have any inside info on a Champs League 1/4 final whilst playing for Port Vale 😂

Is the thread safe yet ? Has that horrific picture been deleted 🤷‍♂️

Ally McCoist is superb - he presents in a way that he is just enjoying what he sees , he is fair about what he says , very knowledgeable, great humour and also has a very good repertoire with his fellow pundits etc

He is the standard that they should all aim to reach

I am a fan of Ally McCoist as a co-commentator. However, is he actually a pundit on BT and ITV? I can't ever remember seeing him analysing the games before, after or at half-time. Enjoy listening to him on Talksport as well. To be honest, I also quite like Stuart Pearce, and on the way home from work Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein are a good duo.

I like Darren Bent but can take or leave Andy Goldstein. This I preferred Darren Bent with Darren Ambrose last week. I do like Stuart Pearce as well. In fact on Talksport it is now only Alan Brazil that winds we up.

I like Goldstein when he's talking about anything over than United :ROFLMAO: Just has really weird takes around his own team.

He really can make a talking point out of almost anything though so credit where its due, he is a good broadcaster and the old sports bar was elite.

Adrian Durham was always good in my opinion but he's even better doing what he does now "around the grounds"

Jason Cundy really winds me up. When I tune in to watch a clip on youTube, and he is a presenter, he is just so loud and dramatic. Hurts my head, and struggle to have any respect for his opinion after that. Not sure about O'Hara, as I might just find him guilty by association as he is with Cundy.

I quite like listening to Simon Jordan, he just has a calm way of setting out his argument, and setting it out very clearly (so, even if you don't agree with everything, you know exactly where he is coming from). He also tears apart Martin Keown frequently, who seems to put up the most ridiculous arguments at times, and then contradicts himself a second later. He also had Souness tied up in knots frequently, but not sure if Souness has quit his regular spot on the Jordan and White slot?

You are right, I will add Jamie O'Hara and, to my mind the worst, Gabby Agbonlahor. Just tries to court controversy to keep the focus on him. Not sure he adds anything to any show he is on.

The only thing I like Gabby for is the Villa links, he bring us up more than any other pundit.

Without him I doubt we would ever be talked about, its very top 6 bias.
