He was utterly classless shock horror, you dont win 7-0 against United without being very good and Liverpool played some excellent stuff, especially for the earlier goals. Gakpo and Darwin who hes been quick to criticise deserved plenty of praise, as did TAA who United werent unable to expose at all. A bit of balance to admit that whilst United were shocking Liverpool were excellent wouldnt have gone a miss but the sulky brat kept on that Liverpool didnt play that well

That’s about spot on

Neville has been very critical of Gakpo , Nunez and others and some of the goals were superb , Gakpo was excellent all game , his movement was superb for the first goal and then even better for the third - but he said zip about it , just crying about Liverpool not playing well and it all being down to United not playing well

2 month lol, should be more like 2 years for 300+ betting offences including games hes played in. Didnt Barton get 18 mths for similar

5 live at the weekend was expecting somewhere between what Trippier and Barton got - they said about 6 months is expected

Good to see Toney getting a game live on sky when he should be several months into his long ban, not that you'd know anything about it lol

Got to say (Without sounding like a knob😂😂) I know a few footballers in England and Scotland and they all pretty much like a flutter, not on themselves though!!

I like one more than most so i have no probs with them having a bet, but have it on la liga or the bundesliga or the champs league or a horse or a dog, not on a Brentford game your playing in!

I'm fascinated by the whole real/proper fan debate. I'm a Colchester fan, born in Chelmsford, despite living in Norfolk for most of my formative years. Growing up my grandparents lived in Layer-De-La-Haye which was just outside Colchester on Layer Road, the site of the old Colchester stadium. I now live in north Suffolk and still follow Colchester, getting down four or five times a season to watch them live. It's a full day out for me and the kids to go down and watch them live and with everything else they've got going on it's not something that I'm able to do as often as I would ideally like to, but I still consider myself to be a proper fan. Having said all that I have to concede that the 156 fans that travel to an away match in Carlisle on a Wednesday night in February or to Bradford/Salford/Swindon for a midweek evening away match are far more dedicated than I have ever been. To me those fans, and equally the fans of all the other teams who are making similar journeys every other week, are the "real" or "proper" football fans. Imagine supporting Torquay United in the National League and having an away trip to York City for a midweek game. Five and a half hours each way to watch your team. Assuming a 7-45pm kick-off they'd need to leave around midday/1pm to make sure they arrived on time and wouldn't be getting home until 3/4am and then getting up for work in the morning.

To be fair, a lot of the criticism of Nunez has been justified so far this season. Yes, he's worked hard but up until recently he hasn't looked as though he could hit a barn door from 2 yards. If you Google "Nunez misses this season" the resulting videos are all over an hour long. He looked like a player that needed one to go in off his backside or knee to give him some confidence. Having said that he has looked a lot better and more confident recently.

Why should he? Carragher and Souness were there to give all the compliments to Liverpool. Although, maybe they felt a lot of effort was needed in criticising Utd as well?

If Neville didn't think Liverpool played that well, is it not OK for him to say so? After all, you are always saying this when people disagree with you. Not playing well is not the same as playing badly. It just means he didn't think they really needed to get out of 3rd gear.

Rather than getting all teary eyed that an ex Man Utd footballer didn't rush to heap praise on your beloved Liverpool players, maybe you need to feel upset with them that they've ripped you off all season. Or, maybe not rush in to assume they are suddenly great again, just because they beat a horrific opponent over 50 mins of football. If they start showing this consistently, then fair enough. Although, I'm sure Neville will praise them then, as he has done many times over last 4 or 5 years.

I'd ban him at the rate of one day for every offense committed.

He should be banned right now Imo - he admitted the guilt so should be an immediate ban until at the very least Jan

To be fair, a lot of the criticism of Nunez has been justified so far this season. Yes, he's worked hard but up until recently he hasn't looked as though he could hit a barn door from 2 yards. Yep no doubt that previously Nunez has struggled finishing chances and when they happen he was rightly critical of that , but when he plays well you would expect that the pundits in the studio would highlight that just as Carragher has in the past with Martinez when he pretty much wrote him off but admitted he was wrong.

Neville was gone , Carragher got to him during the commentary and he let his bias emotions get in the way of any sort of balanced reviews and in the end he looked like a spoilt kid with even Kelly Cates cutting him off. It’s why I think he shouldn’t be around for these games - watching MOTD2 and also the MNF they showed a lot of the tactical stuff and the good stuff that Liverpool did which actually helped create the early goals and made Utd look bad

This feels like a slightly @Tashyboy moment 😆. I'm away with work, staying in Ashby de la Zouch. I was eating in a pub, a lady on the table behind knocks my chair, apologises and mumbles something about being distracted by her husband talking football, he's a Forest fan. I smile, tell them I'm an Everton fan and we then have a lovely chat about the game and Forest. He also watched the game from behind a pillow but, understandably, was happier with the point. We both agreed about the joy of watching Johnson and he could be what keeps them up.

After the second eye roll from his wife we decided it was time to end the football chat 😆.

Incidentally, way too much traffic down here. From Leeds down 😱. I'm hoping the snow isn't too harsh overnight back home and I can escape back to Northumberland tomorrow afternoon 😄.

The Beeches, generic food pub with accommodation just outside the centre. On Burton Road. Does the job for a night away, work wise. I don't know this part of the world, I just went off the Internet.

Oh my word 😳. No one, but no one can carry that off except one man from the forum. It isn't me 😆.
