I came here to say exactly that. You simply cannot spend the sort of money they have and lose at home to Southampton. He should be sacked for messing up my Super6 if nothing else.
Have to wonder how much say he has with signings.
How can you spend that sort of money & not buy a world class striker?
Whoever thought Abaumayang was a good idea also needs sacking.

The rumours since Todd Boehly took over are that he involves himself far too much in footballing matters. I’m not sure that’s entirely true, but it must be exceptionally difficult to manage a club which spends that much money if they are not bringing in the type of players you want.

Either way, the buck will stop with Potter, not the owner. In the event the signings are Potter’s, he’s toast. If they’re Boehly’s, then Potter is still in deep trouble, as Boehly will simply bring another manager in to work with them.

I wonder if he regrets leaving Brighton.

I wouldn’t mind being in his position 💰 💰 💰

Please, will someone give Jamie Carragher a huge dose of laxatives before he co-commentates on games. He constantly talks as though he’s having a titanic struggle with a troublesome 💩.
