That's always been the case. Titles, CL qualification, relegation. Refs decisions have always costed points that have a knock on impact. It's part of sport, all sports.
It’s not the ref though.
Although I agree it does cost teams.
I think most people accept refs on field can get things wrong with only one look.

There is really no excuse for VAR refs making the mistakes we have seen lately.

Lee Mason sacked. I wonder why. I did say a refs decision could cost a team a title.
I've no idea what the stats are for each ref, and quite a few have made howlers. However, Lee Mason seems to be frequently the centre of attention when an absolute stinker has been made over last few years.

If each ref was ranked as to how good they were (regardless of how bad some might think they all are), I suspect Lee Mason wouldn't be far off the bottom of the pile.

That would mean there are worse than him.!

Been 2nd best again especially in midfield, and people are still surprised why Arsenals priority in the tfr window was to try and find a central midfielder, really is no Partey no party sadly

Like to see Tierney on for Xhaka and move Zinchenko into midfield, not many other options on the bench, maybe see Martinelli through the middle later on

Massive second half but we look pretty leggy already
