How often do you guys get eagles?

Not very often. My best chances are usually chip/pitch-ins on short par 4s.
We only have two par 5s at mine. One would trouble even the longest of amateur hitters and even our Pro and the assistants don't go for it. The other is possible to get on, I've never managed it, but you do hear of people getting on a 1-putting.

When I played at West Middlesex in London, I got on the 6th par 5 quite often and made a few over the years.

I must've been fated to get one because I said that.

First ever one tonight (that I remember anyway ). 529yd Par 5.
Hit a nice drive which caught a slope and just bounced right into the first cut of rough (nice and fluffy). Took enough club to bounce about 30yds before the green and hope to roll up. I couldn't see it finish because there's higher ground between me and my landing area, but I thought I hit it on the line I wanted. When I got up there it was about 8' from the flag. Holed the putt obviously.
