Nobody is doubting you have seen it. It happens all the time. Just the reason you are putting on it "to conserve range" is what is being questioned.

Yes.. mine has a HUD... it is brilliant. but i did drive a Tesla and have seen the videos for new ones like the Volvo EX30/40.. all going down the central display.

my latest problem (though not car manufacturer's problem)
To charge from a regular 3 pin.. i need an external socket, or leave a window open or run off an extension board.
Car booklet says dont use extension board. Obviously I cant leave a window open in this cold weather, nor do i have an external socket. I have been using an extension from the garage.
Today one of the builders blew the extension board. So no way to charge the car!!. Will have to take time off to go and charge it at Morrisons tomorrow

.no good tonight but is there a way your builders could add an outside socket somewhere . I added my own one that runs off a plug when needed. For the pressure washer and if I have an issue with the charging I can throw a 3 pin on it

Yes, Alec Issigonis was a genius and well ahead of his time when he first put the speedometer in the centre of the dashboard… Of the Mini in 1959.
Weak claim to fame time. The other designer of the Mini, Alex Moulton, he of -hydrolastic suspension fame, used to be my landlord and I used to really enjoy hearing his stories of the design of the Mini and other classics. Lovely person and actual genius engineer, really admired him and his bicycles, handmade where we lived on his estate.
Really fascinating person to talk to but, boy oh boy, did he hate the Germans and what BMW did with the new Mini.

I have to admit this is the most chilled I've been about a car order ever. No trade in to worry about . Always worried id get in an accident and scupper the deal once placed aha
This time the Corsa is staying until the Kia arrives and only once it arrives do I make payment to get out of my lease deal a year early . If the figure adds up ofc otherwise it can stay and my sister can use it

BMW have no i4 M50s in stock (other than used) so they are all factory orders.

Yeah seems like it. Had the colour I wanted with a heat pump (which is the only option I can add to the 4 as it's top range) in stock in hull or something.. 4 of them
I think that's why they have lowered the APR so much until April to get them sold
They said 2-3 weeks
Estimated on the paper work is 31st January. Gives the lease company time to get my number plate off the car
