Normally use white wooden & my intention was to get white (biodigradable plastic) zero friction tees from Direct Golf when we went down to Brum on Saturday. Came back with blue which when I used them today turned out to be a lucky colour for me. Took quite a few iron shots off the tee box to break one & was able to still keep it in use much like the wooden ones I'd normally use.

I'm not that bothered these days, I just go with whatever, although I'm a bit of a colour fiend with castle tees. Blue for 3 wood, Silver for Driver.
I don't lose one very often, if I did, I'd go all ecological and only use biodegradable wood.

I had a chuckle today when I saw some "lift tees" on special at some tat shop.....£4.95 for 24 i.i.r.c. ooohhh, horrible....

I have a few blue ones in my bag, which I used with my G5. Never broken or lost one yet. Liked 'em for that club, but gone back to Silver castles for my Callaway.

No, these are not castles...

Blue castle tees are no use to man nor beast.

No, the blue ones I refer to are the Zero friction tees. They look like ordinary wooden tees except that they are plastic & have a three prong head...

I know what you are talking about ....3 pronged z-f.

What I was trying (and failing) to say was that IF I find a normal tee, I'll use it at whatever height, but the Blue and Silver CASTLE tees are strictly for 3w and Driver.

The quote "I have a few blue ones in my bag, which I used with my G5" refers, of course to the long z-f ones.....I couldn't see anyone hitting a 460cc driver off a blue castle.....apart from out the very bottom of the face, at a push. :D
