Sensible post this time.....LOL. So I was looking for a game on Friday and fired up TOT. One course near me has got a ridiculous price over an hours worth of t times. How much? Glad you've asked. £4.28. I kid you not. Prices for times around this hour at £25. Question is, if I book it, will I get it for this price? I mean, surely it's a mistake, but could they, the course affected, say, words to the effect of, i don't piggin' think so, it's 20 notes minimum.

They are given “X” amount of slots per day to sell at whatever they decide.

Without trying to derail the thread, isn't this just another reason why golf clubs are struggling financially? Letting tee times go for less than a gallon of petrol?

No. They've over priced themselves. IMO. Hellfire even Prestbury are offering deals at the moment!!!! Never been heard of !!!!!!

Yeah, hindsight is a wonderful thing. :( Shhhh don't tell anyone but l I've found two others close by for under a tenner so I'll go with one of them. :)

I’m not sure if it’s different for every club, I believe “our” deal with them is they don’t charge us as such, we give them one free 4 Ball a day were they keep 100%. (Certain restrictions apply)

Doesn't that depend? I've used TeeOffTimes to play at courses with my friends, where we would simply not have bothered going there for the price of the full green fee. i.e. We only elected to play there because it was £20 on TOT, say. So club gains from it, rather than struggling.

Yes Tee Off Times and GolfNow are the same company, have been for years.

If the deal is a hot deal then the club gets 0 of the fee. I am sure if you rang the club and said about the deal they would be willing to match the price as then at least they get the fee (albeit less than their green fee).
