Probably the most stupid question ever asked but here we go.

I played 18 holes tonight and snapped my tee on every shot with my driver ,3 wood and rescue club. I wasn't teeing it up too high, approx just under half the ball was above the crown and although I didn't struggle with distance (for me that is) the height of the shots were very low sometimes only 4-5 ft high.

So my question is; does snapping the tee relate to anything I'm doing right or wrong with my swing? Or is it just simply because its been nice dry weather these past few days and the tee is just sticking in the ground more than usual?

Ask yourself this: did the ball go forward more than up? If the answer is yes, don't bother over thinking the snapping of tees! Golf is hard enough without that thought popping in the head before you swing.

It sounds as if you may have a problem.
4-5ft is way too low so at a guess you are de-lofting your clubs.
Do you take any divots on the tee shots?

get some of those rubber corded ones a set of 3 different heights, youll do well to break those.

breaking your tee isnt a problem just look around the teeing ground to see the amount of broken tees.

I'm no expert but if they are going low and the tees are always breaking could you be hitting down into the back of the ball as you would with an iron, rather than the sweeping swing associated with the woods?

I did notice a bit of muck each time on the club after i'd hit but no divot as such. I did used too but thankfully not so much any more hit the ball straight into the ground with my tee shot (driver or rescue club) about 3 inches infront of the tee.

Reckon I maybe was hitting it more like an iron rather than sweeping it away, I know there is no such thing in golf as an easy answer but was just curious if it was a common thing thing for beginners and what caused it.

Won't lose too much sleep over it.... I'll save my putting for that.
