Superstitious ?

Ours is SI 18
However it is the hoel that has ramped up more double figures than the others. Also it's the green on which no puts are given.

Big steep bank down the back, and the back of the narrow green shaved

Our 13th?
Nice straight par 5 of just 488 yards. Copse of trees down the right at about 270 yards, OB all the way left but its a long way left, clag and rough all the way down the right but the fairway is wide. Unfortunatly there is a patch of rough 270 from the tee in the middle of the fairway - effectively making a 30 yards gap in the short stuff.
SO if I hit a biggy - its from an elevated tee as well - I'm in the middle rough with about 200 to go.
I can still get there with a hybrid and often birdie the hole (SI8 so I get a shot too!) and have eagled it a couple of times. If I get a par I'm still happy (3 pointer) but realistically for me it's a (very) long par 4.

Ours is 182 yards off the whites par 3 SI 14, SS2 calculatersit as SI 17 for me. The Green is elevated and you can only see the top of the flag from the tee box, if you walk off the back of the 12th green instead of following the path you can get a good look at the pin position.

Green is guarded with two bunkers front left and another front right, there's a small stream with a few clumps of gorse on the far side slope which would only come into play if you were to top your tee shot.

Interestingly this post made me think, when I joined I used to take 3 iron or 3 wood depending on the wind, nowadays its 4, 5 or 6 iron.....guess my ball striking must be improving :D

Ours is currently undergoing changes at the moment and is out of play until the spring. Its 167 yards but plays 1 club longer than the yardage says. Stroke index 11 so I don't get a shot. Protected by bunkers short right and left. A large green so can throw up many pin positions and has many burrows across the green. They are adding 1 more bunker and 2 grassy hollows to make it a must hit green.

The two easiest holes on the back 9 are the 13th and 18th. both par 5's so thats pretty much the reason , both have plenty of driving room but narrow down for the 2nd shots. The 13th does have OOB all down the right and plenty of clinkenclanken all the way up the left but play it sensibly and there shouldnt be any great dramas
