Still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up

This is the one that does it for me. When a brass band really brings something extra out.

Quite possibly one of the best British films of all time. Postlethwaites speech at the end is cinematic gold

This poor quality pitch side footage does it for me.. Captures the emotion of the moment.
Dont all watch at once, you might break the internet

Went to the England Cameroon Quarter Final. Headed to Rome the next day and had a fantastic night drinking at a pavement bar into the early hours with Irish fans who were still celebrating getting to the QF despite losing to the Italians. Brilliant atmosphere and a massive difference to the alcohol ban and police presence in Sorrento/Naples. Great times. I also distinctly remember seeing posters around Rome for the "Three Tenors concert".....and thinking.... I wonder what that's all about????......:o

I saw Prince at the NEC the night of the Cameroon match. I was
on the very back row and he looked about an inch tall. The concert was dull and I ended up looking round at the tv's along with a load of other blokes and watching the game. My then girlfriend was not impressed but football was more important.

Best World Cup of my generation. The grounds, the atmospheres, the matches, England did well, that song. Never been topped.

It's the Band Aid single that does it for me. Everything it represented at the time and all it spawned. To me it was one of the most significant times in modern music.

'Tonight thank God it's them and not you.......' Just sums up our comfortable western lifestyle to me.
