Steve Williams on Adam Scotts bag for US open

Not sure if its been posted before but Tigers caddie is at the US open even if Tiger is not, perhaps a sign of things to come

I used to think Adam Scott was one of the coolest players around… until he started using that long putter.

The fact he's hanging around with Steve Williams isn't helping his street cred either.

Aye, lots thought that of Tiger also. Williams is clearly a good man on the bag and Scott will get more interest with him doing that. Maybe Williams has a few contacts...you know, nudge nudge wink wink.

I wish I could agree with that but I fear that Tiger's body is shot and that it simply won't allow him to play the game he once did.

I also still find it incredible that Steve Williams is New Zealand's highest earning sports star of all time. Amazing.

Have to agree that although Tiger will undoubtedly return its how much his body will allow him to be as competitive as he was. In a fotballing analogy look at Micheal Owen. Once injury robbed him of that blistering pace over 20 yards he use to have he's never been the same striker.

I think it can only be good for Scott to have such an experienced caddy as Williams even though he is a prize prick in the way he thinks he's better than any of the others out there and the way he conducts himself generally. As a caddy though he is top notch. Scott will still struggle to make the top 20 though this week
