As well as the Kilgrimol trophy at SAOL they have the old links trophy. h'cap 3-9 36holes on 1st sept. sounds good value but I'm not sure I can be arsed doing 36 holes.
The way I'm shaping at the moment I might be able to get in the Kilgrimol if Theres any spaces. currently 9.1,only another .4 required.

Got to pull out of this, the logistics are too much as I now have my Phelps Bowl 36 holes on Sat 24th & Sun 25th and then would have to be away around 5.45am from here to get their.
I did ring them on Monday regarding and confirming my handicap again and they ummed and arred a bit but said it was OK to play off 18.
Does anyone want my spot at 09.10hrs?

Yeah 18 mate. They may let you play off 18 though if you speak to them.

Only trouble you may have is at their end. On a post above Fish says they ummed and arred a bit about it when he spoke to them recently as he was doing the same.
Dave Turnbull was OK when I said I had played Wallasey, Formby & Hoylake to name just a few links courses, you just got to let him know your competent enough to get around and then he says to let "them" know when you register on the morning that your playing off the maximum 18 allowance as agreed.
