I’d pay my taxes. You’ll choose not to believe that I’m sure but I would.

Maybe you should read up on how international sports people pay tax. F1 drivers pay tax in the country they earn their money in. So why would they live in a country that then taxes them further?

And wouldn't you live somewhere you can go about your business without being hassled all the time and where the weather is nice? F1 Drivers from this country going back to Jim Clarke and Jackie Stuart have lived abroad to avoid paying tax. Funny how nobody seems to mention the other drivers doing it.

Dont know, dont care, not watching it.

Its an absolute waste of time and money imo, the BBC doesn't hardly show any mainstream sport these days and can hardly show any of the sporting activities during the show as they are protected (mainly by SKY and BT) but, at least, they'll be little arguing about Andy Murrays personality this year

2020
As usual, gave the whole thing a miss. BBC dont show top level sport I'm really not bothered to watch an awards programme

Any chance you watching next year???

Not sure that is completely correct. They don’t pay tax for every race venue. They pay tax in the country which the team is set up in, as that is the employer. However they use a minimum attendance rule, which I think is being cracked down on. So his tax affairs are very lean but honest. The taxation of incomes generated by appearances and images will be in the best country to maximise income retention... like Amazon
