Solar Eclipse

Did anyone else experience the partial eclipse today? I was playing at Dunbar where it was bright but slightly overcast and it did become slightly dull for around five minutes. Unless you were aware that there was to be an eclipse I don't think I would have noticed.

I didn't notice anything ordinarily but I made a pinhole-camera affair in a piece of cardboard and was able to see it on a piece of white paper held a foot or so behind the card.

This was back in 11 August 1999, taken through clouds just before totalisation. It was quite a spooky experience.

Terrific, as usual. Lovely receptive greens running true and quick. Gorgeous fairways and very little rough. Calm sea with surfers in the water and a slight breeze. For the last week in October it was fantastic, the only downside was theCity Bypass

I took so long to find my eclipse glasses that it was over before I could look. Not too bothered really as I have seen many in my lifetime including the full eclipse of 1999

Its also too long since I played Dunbar!!
