Any snooker fans? The UK ended up being a stroll for O'Sullivan with his win taking him to 19 triple crown titles . 1 more than the great Stephen Hendry. In the coming months he'll go on to make over 1000 competitive centuries in his career .

One of the few sports people worth paying good money to watch. Have seen him twice and the atmosphere is electric with anticipation that something spectacular might happen.

The whole business with Hearn is hilarious. Hearn says no-one is bigger than the sport but Ronnie is box office. And deep down I reckon Hearn knows that.

His clearance to get to 9 frames was brilliant. Hendrys record of ranking wins will be his next record . The way he's going he could well add another world or 2 ..

Doubt he will win 2 more world's, unless the other great players (Selby and Higgins) go out before they meet or have an off day. At his age and temperament I just think hes beatable by those 2 at their best. He never faced a very good player until the final and even then he got a Mark Allen in poor shape.

He needs a lot of luck to get what he wants and I fear over a longer format it won't happen. I hope and pray I'm wrong as I'm a huge fan

Higgins is more likely to retire than beat Ronnie at the moment. He's nowhere and has openly admitted he's considering retirement. Judd Trump is probably the player most likely to stand in Ronnie's way.

Think O'Sullivan will walk away from the game with all of the records. He seems engaged again with the game and if he's enjoying it and the practice as well then the opposition have a very hard time ahead.

Watched some of the Shot Clock Challenge on Quest this afternoon. What a hideous tournament. The actual play is okay and easy to watch but they seem to have attracted a crowd with too many people slaughtered on cheap beer hooping and hollering every five seconds sounding as if they've got a form of Turrets. Smacks of lame attempts to get themselves on television. Little more than a circus for me.

You should wait till late on in the evening if you think the afternoon is bad, it's an abomination of a tournament...

I think that's what was most alarming, it was only 3 o'clock in the afternoon and a large section of the crowd seemed absolutely trollied!

If you were one of the top players why would you bother? Just no respect for the players. Just a case of "i've paid my money, i'll do what i want."

Most of the players who play in it drink as well, just a great big piss up. Naturally, quite a few of the top guys don't play in it.

Another of Hendrys records equalled by Ronnie. 36 ranking titles and I dare say he'll surpass it at some point . also back to world number 1 for the first time in a while, doubly impressive when you consider he probably plays half as many events as Selby.

Interesting opening few days at the Crucible. Ronnie, Brecel and Mark Allen all gone already.

I think Jack Lisowski could be a dark horse for going far in the tourney. Neil Robertson or Judd Trump to win overall now for me.

I'd like to see Ding or Trump take the title. The Brecel game was pretty enthralling, right down the to the wire.
Ronnie clearly wasn't in the right frame of mind
Not sad to see Allen go really
