saw this on Twitter today from my new best friend Stephen Fry.......well I stalk him..

as he said its a simple yet brilliant idea, you'll all be trying it tomorrow.

Why dont we have a golf related thread along these lines?

Sorry, but I don't get it. Is it me?

i don't get someone not getting it;)

It's like a window into the past, a time machine bubble into your memories, look at the ones of people who've passed on who can still be remembered in the present, the kids at the place they played 30 years ago etc etc.........brought a serious tear to my manly eye:o

wheres your soul man:p

Fantastic, I came across some old photos not so long ago and this brought them right back to me when they were first taken. Id say it wouldnt take much to get teary-eyed over some of them.

Great,

Now we are going to get hundreds of photos of Homers Swing Through The Ages

Or Smiffy's White troosers at dozens of different courses

Help

Not so. I'm another who regrets not having more pictures especially of my family from the past. I've not got that many truth be told of HID or myself since we've been together.

However just for Frag. Here's one of a very young me

I'm lucky that my dad was always very keen on taking snaps so have got a lot of nice pics of dad and mum right through from the 30's and 40's to the 70's including a lot which Dad took while in the desert with the RAF. They really are evocative. Interesting to compare the smart young man freshly joined up in his RAF uniform, hair immaculately brylcreemed with the wiry, scruffy, sun burnt bloke in baggy khaki shorts standing in front of a wind blown tent in the middle of nowhere just a couple of years later. He was still smiling though.

Lots of 70's instamatic pictures of me and my bro with long hair and flares :o and even a few of me posing with a golf club.

Happy days!
