Hi folks, I posted a while back about shoulder probs, and after 6/7 weeks of physio it looks like it could be subacromial bursitis, think that's how u say it. Well, that's what physio thinks it could be, off to the docs at 5.30 for a check up. Physio said to ask about injection as its not getting better on its own.
Anyone done this, and know how long it will take to heal? Thanks.

I had elbow bursitis, it hurt like hell for a couple of days but penicillin had it cleared up within a week. Can't help with the shoulder I'm afraid, sorry.

Same here, came out of nowhere and took a full course of antibiotics to shift it and still got bother for a bit after. One of the most bizarre injuries I ever had.

Sub acromial bursitis usually responds quite well to a steroid injection. Elbow bursitis may be infection but worth getting checked for gout.
