I'm not well up on how the handicap system is worked out. My question is, out of my last 20 cards submitted 8 of them are tinted yellow. I do see that they are my best 8 scorecards out off the 20. Is this what it means ?

That sounds a bit rubbish. Thankfully there’s none on the English one. Mind you, I am frustrated that coming from the north east and playing occasionally in the borders I can’t register a score on a so called WORLD handicap system.Yes, somewhere inbetween all the adverts you’ll find your best 8 scores.?

But, changes in hcp index should be processed overnight, putting it in the post won't meet that brief.Being able to submit cards from other countries wasn’t a reason for the world
handicap system. Not sure why people can’t wrap their head around that.
just fill out a card and send it to your handicap sec. It’s not rocket science.
the ability to do it on the app is coming.

Don't see why this is difficult.

Why would I want to give a volunteer at our club the extra workBeing able to submit cards from other countries wasn’t a reason for the world

That would be great newsApparently this was fixed very recently
Since the introduction of the App (& WHS) it's become more and more clear that Scottish Golf have absolutely no clue about how the majority of clubs in the country work, and that most are staffed by volunteers. We've always known they were out of touch, developing their inhouse back end system and all the mess they've made of it has just gone to prove our suspicions were more than justified. Why would I want to give a volunteer at our club the extra work
