Scottish Fitba'

Craig has been injured and only recently returned to full fitness.
Still a class keeper even if he is getting on a bit,
Hearts now have a very good younger top German league keeper who will be difficult to replace
Younger in comparison to Craig Gordon, he's Finnish. I mean he's 33.

Awful from Celtic who’s fans seem as dejected as those of Rangers.

Rangers doing rubbish again. Pitiful goal loss for second one.

Hopefully Aberdeen are doing better.

It just seems that Celtic aren't in a happy place just now. The quality seems to have dipped alarmingly. Maeda was easily the outstanding player in Scotland last season but you can just tell he doesn't want to be here. Five games without scoring already, the same number as the whole of last season.

Celtic will win the league again. No idea why the fans are so unappreciative. With no real opposition, they’ve made a lot of cash out of Europe.
Celtic fans don’t know how lucky they are. Put themselves in the shoes of Rangers or Aberdeen fans.

I think as a Celtic fan it's not unreasonable to expect the club to do more than the bare minimum in the transfer window.
Their failure to prepare for ucl qualifiers has been going on for 15 years now.
I do think that Celtic will win the league but also wouldn't be overly surprised if we don't.

Scottish football is at an all time low, Celtic have the league in the bag, but in Europe they need to spend money to compete, Rangers and Aberdeen are toiling terribly, no club is fearing playing a Scottish team in Europe.

Well, they should, especially at Ibrox or Parkhead.
But, the home support currently encourages the opposition. Embarrassing. 😬

Joe Hart saying Schmeichel will learn from this is a good one, guys 38.
He was terrible tonight, shocking for the first goal, and I lost count of the number of times he passed straight to a Braga player.

The decision to disallow Ilhenacho’s goal was utterly mystifying. It might have been a different story if that had stood, but overall it was another lethargic display. Get your money on Hearts for the league.

Do VAR get more angles than TV?

No idea, but TV had 3 or 4 angles, none of which showed a handball. What was really weird was that the ref wasn’t asked to review it, it was simply overruled by the VAR team as “factual “ - I thought that only happened with offsides?

So, if there was no handball, what fact had it chopped off?

Kelechi Iheanacho called it "an awful decision". Team-mate Sebastian Tounekti said it was "crazy". Former Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart went with "ridiculous".

Manager Brendan Rodgers bemoaned what was a "huge moment" when Celtic had an Iheanacho goal ruled out early in the second half against Sporting Braga.

The Nigerian thought he had equalised for the home side when he fired a left-footed strike into the far corner after bursting through a weak defensive challenge.

However, after a lengthy review, VAR Christian Dingert instructed referee Tobias Stieler to disallow the goal because of a handball, despite replays appearing to show the ball hitting Iheanacho in the face.

"The ball didn't hit my hand, and that changed the game," Iheanacho said.

Best chance in 40 years of a Leicester in the league this year. Hearts could open a 5 point lead in a few games' time, and who knows what could happen if they can open a decent gap at the top.
