Kelechi Iheanacho called it "an awful decision". Team-mate Sebastian Tounekti said it was "crazy". Former Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart went with "ridiculous".

Manager Brendan Rodgers bemoaned what was a "huge moment" when Celtic had an Iheanacho goal ruled out early in the second half against Sporting Braga.

The Nigerian thought he had equalised for the home side when he fired a left-footed strike into the far corner after bursting through a weak defensive challenge.

However, after a lengthy review, VAR Christian Dingert instructed referee Tobias Stieler to disallow the goal because of a handball, despite replays appearing to show the ball hitting Iheanacho in the face.

"The ball didn't hit my hand, and that changed the game," Iheanacho said.

I watched the game. Hearts play a lot like Rangers.

As per my original post, it's very early in the season but it's the best chance in 40 years of someone else being in with a shout.

Is there any other league in the world that has been so dominated for so long by 2 teams?
It really is so dull.

Portuguese league is the same 3 teams, so is the Dutch league, Bulgarian the same one etc. There are as many leagues as not largely dominated by just a few teams.

May not be a great league but the Championship table has a great look about it. StJ have now played all teams in the league…played 9; W7, D2, L0

That’s said…things can easy change for StJ, as indeed they might for Hearts…remember Aberdeen of last season.

Terrible scenes after the match at Falkirk. I feel sorry for Russell Martin. Its obvious he's not going to last and is just holding out for his payoff. The sooner Rangers pony up the dough the better for everyone.

Watched Celtic (we were poor again), then turned on Sky for the aftermath of the Rangers game. The panel were saying Falkirk were the better team. Strange days for the Glasgow giants.
