I think what they had is obviously not working. Don't think it will do any harm to transform the squad. I think Shankland would be a great signing, guaranteed goals.

I think Clement was promised a lot of transfer money when he signed and that has disappeared with the FFP rules.

Hearts made some great signings early on. lets hope they bed down well.
Strong squad now, two decent players for each position and the B team is flying.

Bit worrying news that Leicester are looking at Hatate. I think O'Reilly is certain to be off somewhere which will leave a huge hole in the midfield if both go. Hope we can persuade one or both to give us another season.

Very surprised that a penalty was not given for the Barron handball. That would have been a certain pen last season.

Some talk that the criteria for a handball has changed over the summer. It will be interesting to see if this is indeed the case or if this was an ‘honest mistake’.
