Celtic manage to grind out a win somehow. Another double so I’ll have a few celebratory beers tonight.

Because the ref never saw it. Brother Beaton was on VAR, good call, but will probably cost him his membership of the lodge

Why did it need VAR?

Because the push was on the goal line and into the back of Hart while the referee couldn’t see through 8 bodies. Blatant 2 handed push that moved Hart a couple of yards and spoiled any chance he had of collecting the cross. The push bailed Hart out as I’m not 100% convinced Hart would have got there but we will never find out.

Also VAR decided that a clear handball by Davies wasn’t worth a look as his arm was in a “natural” position. Beaton gave a penalty against Celtic at Tynecastle for something that was very, very similar.

Scrappy game, VAR only got one thing wrong, the hand ball against Davis in the first half. Currently celebrating make mine a double.

Lyndon Dykes ruled out the Euros after getting injured in training. Shame for the boy, he’s limited but has done well for Scotland over the last few years.

That’s a blow…a bit of a minor cult figure. I always feel he might get something or make something happens when he comes on.

I am not exactly excited at some of the names being touted to replace Dykes.
Probably best to leave things alone and trust in young Doaks.
If nothing else he gains valuable experience.

Shankland can do everything Dykes can do and is probably a better set piece defender.
Downside Dykes is faster.

Struggling to beat Gibraltar... ... When you think how confident we were several months ago, prior to playing friendlies against the top nations.... Really looking forward to the euros... But expectations are now at an all time low.. Maybe a good thing..

Can’t deny it…very nervous about this evening. Such an untried squad and team hasn’t done great last few games. But we have good players and i guess it depends how well they have knit and developed as a Tran over the lead up. Come on lads
