Big thanks to full_throttle for an excellent day's golf!

Copsewood Grange Golf Club was in great condition, I'd never have believed that they'd been flooded during the winter, fairways were immaculate and the greens were as true as any I've played on recently. It's a tight course and deserves a bit of respect, I didn't hit driver once.

Great fourball company and we even managed a score that didn't embarrass us, especially on the front 9 where we dovetailed perfectly so that even my shank (the only one of the day!) was countered by Rob making par with a shot for 3 points, the first of a tidy run of three 3 pointers from him.

I'll leave Rob give the final score but many thanks again for the invite, you'll have to play my course before the year is out.

Superb day of golf in fantastic company. The course was in great condition. 23 points out gave us a fighting chance but we both messed up on the 11th, I managed an 8footer for a point. Steady golf all the way back but unfortunately not as good as the front nine.

41 was our total; when crow left we were in 3rd place, after a few more beers we had been pushed down the leaderboard with a couple of 44's and a 42 coming in.

Nick, thanks for stepping in at short notice, it was a pleasure as always.

wd guys, glad you had a good day and played pretty well (thx for stepping in at short notice Nick). Disappointed I couldnt make it but will hopefully get up for a game later in the year once im back 100%
