My daughter went into her local golfing superstore to buy a new set of clubs.

{Daughter} I know that, I play with men's clubs.
{Salesman} Those clubs you are looking at will probably not suit you as they are designed for low handicap men.

Had the same thing 2 years ago at BMW in Dundee, they didn't believe we wanted to buy a car from them and just messed us about, wifes pal knows the main man in BMW in Edinburgh with in an hour we had a car ordered and a new BMW golf bag thrown in as well, going back later this year to get one for myself

I started my plant and tool hire business about 25 years ago, largely with equipment bought from receivers in various state of repair. After about 3 years I needed to get rid of some sort of the old stuff, and buy some brand new mini diggers. I spoke to the the local Kubuto dealer and I asked for the price for 3 x 3 ton diggers, back then £40k of business. He quoted the top whack price and some one told me that he had taken the view I wouldn't buy new so he didn't bother sharpening the pencil to lure me to their brand - he never ever got an order over 25 years and I probably bought 25 of them over those years
