Sad but True

Even worse is when you cream a new Z-Star up the farway then someone wanders out of the trees from the adjoining fairway and takes a swing at a ball in the vicinity of where your landed, you wait for your three partners to tee off and when you get there you find an old cut up Donnay in the first cut and the culprit is way off in the distance with his new Z-Star.

No way would that happen to me, ive confronted people when i think they have took my ball
good ball or not
If you find a ball deep in a bush or heavy rough, chances are its abandoned
If you see a balll in the middle of the fairway or light rough, easily visable, if you pick that up your asking for a show down

Had more than my share of one hit wonders in my time. I'm so tempted to nip over the OB fence on the 2nd and spend 20 minutes scaveging in the woods to the right of the hole. I reckon I'll never need to fill the practice bag again.

I hate losing balls. I really do.

Why is it that if you are playing on your own, playing two balls, one new, one tired, you always, always, always, lose the new one? Did it today. It bugs me.

I cant stand it when this happens.

Back when I was a teenager playing golf, my mother used to come for some exercise and she'd walk around the course as I'm plaing. I've never met anyone as good at finding balls as her. She'd end up emptying seven or eight balls into my bag after 9 holes!

We used to laugh that the quality of ball you find it's indicative to the quality of course your playing, you don't find many old pinnacles at Gleneagles and likewise pro v's at the local muni
