Here would be the teams I'd pick

Europe:
1. Poulter
2. Donald
3. Rose
4. Kaymer
5. McIlroy
6. McDowell
7. Manassero
8. Colsaerts
9. Garcia
10. Stenson
11. Westwood
12. Lowry

USA
1. Tiger
2. Zach Johnson
3. Dustin Johnson
4. Bradley
5. Kuchar
6. Bubba
7. Dufner
8. Spieth
9. Fowler
10. Mahan
11. Simpson
12. Billy Horschel

A few in there like Horschel and Lowry who I think are in for a big year. Horschel could be a very good Ryder Cup player with his extreme amounts of passion, or he may just be a time bomb. Lowry is a very good Matchplay player, McGinley should know this and wouldn't surprise me if he was a captains pick

Replace Lowry with Hansen and I think that will be close

Not sure about Colsearts

You're forgetting Dubuisson..
If he hasn't already done enough to qualify the chances are, by March he will have if he keeps up any sort of form.

Dubisson currently sitting nicely in third on the European List

It looks like there is 3 wild cards this year ?

I wouldn't have manassero, given a choice.

Also, the OPs choice of Americans is pretty much the same lot that lost last time. They'll do for me then!

I predict that it is too early for predictions.

But I think there will be at least one European who looks rather unsuited to wearing a suit, one American (or more) who gives thanks to God for something, and Rory McIlroy will be at the course 3 hours before his singles tee time.

Fixed

Me either. Paul Casey has been showing some half decent form recently and winning not that long back. Has previous Ryder Cup experience too. Personally I think he'd be a bit of a gamble, but no more than Colsearts.

This is the current list

A couple currently missing out but will either make it or be a wild card pick

There is also a few players returning to form which could make it interesting - Casey, Howell and Fisher for example

Jimenez could also squeeze in

Going to be an interesting race

I think people like Casey are going to need it qualify out right to make it.

Bjorn is looking solid at the moment

Think the US team is going to be very young this time with no players like Stricker or Furyk etc

agreed. WAY to early, way way way to early:rolleyes:

I predict about a zillion threads like this by July

Way too early to make any sort of prediction. So called form players may have a bad season and there is always going to be a new kid on the block. As long as the 12 picked do the job and win I don't care

I reckon Casey's going to straight qualify, coming back to form. He could be the one to watch this year.
