Cheers. Didn't realise that rule had been changed. In that case the second Scotland try should definitely have been given. It doesn’t count as touch anymore - think it changed 3/4 years ago

He's huge isn't he. He was walking back after the second try with his arms behind his head. I reckon his biceps are bigger than my thighs, and he's a winger . Once he is running he is a monster to stop.Yep, well done South Africa.
Bit rich given the number of overseas players England have fielded over the years, both in rugby and cricket.Yep, well done South Africa.
Are you talking about Geordie Vunipola and Scouse Tuilagi?Bit rich given the number of overseas players England have fielded over the years, both in rugby and cricket.
I do love a bad loser
We need a mad lips of thatAre you talking about Geordie Vunipola and Scouse Tuilagi?
General residency rules can’t be changed for sportsmen and women. The exclusion timing from the respective sporting bodies though should be the barrier to this happening. Increase it to 10 years and that would really thin out the changes.I think the system is wrong in how players can transfer countries and qualify. I never liked it when England were playing South Sea Islanders, the same applies for other nations. Internationals should not be transferable because a better opportunity arises. It isn't club rugby, it shouldn't work that way (I feel the same about other sports as well, cricket being the obvious one)
The Vunipola brothers went to primary school just down the road from me and went to the local secondary school and played junior rugby for my local club. They have lived in the UK since they were young children, so hardly players qualifying to play on very short term residency. Are you talking about Geordie Vunipola and Scouse Tuilagi?
Fair play, I didn't dig deeply into the background. Lazy from me. The principle stands though, even if it doesn't apply to those guys. The Vunipola brothers went to primary school just down the road from me and went to the local secondary school and played junior rugby for my local club. Considering England have a new coach and direction, and quite a few young players coming in I would be more concerned that Scotland didn't beat them by more, and probably without DvdM would have lost. Some of Saturday's England players seem to have been around for ages.
A few can be described as 'journey men'
Seems to me like the structure needs a wake up call.
With all of those players, facilities and funding at England's disposal so they should be producing something an awful lot better.
With what is at their fingertips they should be the outstanding team in world rugby.

Do you think England should follow Scotland's example and reduce their professional teams to two.Not sure where some of that comes from. The RFU is skint, the clubs are losing money by the bucket load. For international rugby running less club sides, concentrating talent and reducing costs is a benefit. The home nations get the same amount of money pretty much out of the 6 nations as the TV revenue is split evenly and as the teams have the same international calendar and play similar opposition the levels of overall funding should not be that different.
