The reaction of the Scottish players to that decision should be played to every professional football team before every game. In my view a very poor decision but the players accepted it without question.

It was probably a try. Video needed to show ball clearly touching ground over the line to give it, which it didn't. Unfortunate, but not particularly complicated.

Scotland gave France a way into the game by being super passive. You can’t stand off teams like that.

The ball is a certain size. The guys foot is holdingn up the ball initially and then the ball rolls off that foot and onto the ground. Try all day long

I had my face up against the screen on the action replays and I could clearly see the ball on the ground.
Player had carried the ball well over the line, as he brought in down it came into contact with a leg, he carried on bringing the ball down until it touched the ground.
It was one continuous downward movement. Looks more obvious in real time rather than slow motion.
