I’m just at a loss. Argentina are the stupidest set of special idiots on a rugby field. This is a Darwin Award winning performance. Typical of a Cejka coached team really.

England have managed the game very well since they went down to 14.

Its as if becoming big favourites after the red card put all the pressure on them and they tried to force it without doing the basics, and the longer it went the worse they got.

Assume theyve had more training sessions where they have the 14 not the opposition lol

That was outstanding from England - the level of defence from them was a massive step up

That was huge after going down to 14

Massive performances form Manu , Ford , Mitchell and the whole of that pack - especially Lawes and Earl 👏👏

Outstanding defensive performance and high IQ in terms of driving the scoreboard forward. Argentina couldn't handle the scoreboard pressure.

That said, and acknowledging it's difficult to judge a 14-man performance for 77mins......Argentina were awful and France vs New Zealand was 2 or 3 levels above this. Hopefully we can use this as a springboard.

England excellent tonight, just shows you can have a bad run but class is permanent.
Argentina poor but not buying scoreboard pressure, England made them make poor decisions.
As for 2 or 3 levels above, absolute garbage, France and New Zealand can both play a lot better, but they were both miles behind their best on Friday.

That was ford at his best and why he should always start. He controls a game like nobody else in the England set up. None of the other options could do that.

The biggest impact though was Aled. Having seen what he did with Tigers and SA there was no way our fitness would not be peeking at the right time.

I wasn’t referring to France or New Zealand’s potential level of performance, I agree they can both play better.

I said as a game of rugby, France vs New Zealand was 2 or 3 levels above England vs Argentina.

Can I just add. Farrell should be dropped altogether. If he had been on the pitch when Curry went off, there is no way he would have managed the game like that and enabled us to win.

Got our table at big outdoor barn type structure outside a town centre pub. 2 big tv's. Wife has the bokke top on!

Just finished prepping for the BBQ. The tomahawk looks like it’ll take up half the BBQ. Mrs H’s fillet looks delish! Beer fridge is open, and I’ve cracked a Malbec.

Pardon my French, but isn't Rugby just 30 overweight hommes en un champ chasing after un oeuf?
And yes, I did fail the O' Level.
You also failed to read my reply properly, something you're very quick to castigate others for.
Rugby match.....30 overweight players?

The citing commissioner is probably looking into whether George Ford tackled a man in the air 🤪
