Okay, @Beezerk, it's been long enough... PICTURES!!!
You've posted happily that you've bought a new TM golf club, but you've not updates us on the room! Shame on you!!
It’s not 100% yet, needs some finishing touches and obviously the art needs tweaking
I’ll try and get a photo tomorrow
One thing though, I’ve managed to get a decent gap between the back of the sofa and the wall, I mean how opulent is that

I really did try and get a photo but this little bugger kept getting in the way 
I'd love to see some photos of how it turned out. Been long enough.
I'm actually in the midst of planning a living room makeover myself and could really use some inspiration. So far, I've only managed to buy this L-shaped sofa. If you look at it, you'll see that I'm aiming for a cozy yet modern vibe.
I'm thinking of putting some statement pieces, maybe a bold area rug, or some eye-catching artwork.
Color-wise, I'm leaning towards a neutral palette with pops of vibrant hues here and there for a bit of flair.
