Roll Up Group Handicaps

Just to be clear, scores from roll ups must only be submitted if the format is acceptable - i.e. individual strokeplay.
And when playing stableford scoring must all holes be played out even if no points are going to be scored - and if not copmpleted then a NR must be entered for the hole?

Why would you do that as an organised group. The guidance is clear and you are going against what WHS is about. The club does have the power to try and persuade a group to change and it would have the power to suspend handicaps. It has already been discussed to death on here so why carry on arguing. All our groups had adopted GP cards and the world has kept turning

Why ?

Because we are playing for fun - it’s social golf

The club can’t force you - you can make up your own rules

That’s exactly what 99% of social groups do

Mark NR. Do you not have that option when you enter your score on the computer? Click the down button on the screen and up comes something like, hole started but not finished?

Obtuse as ever. The club see it as an organised group as per WHS rules and as such the group should be putting in GP cards. It isn't hard to understand or even comply with. Why are you so scared to put cards in? Vanity handicap?

It's been said repeatedly that EG can have your handicaps removed so clearly there is an impact to ignoring the advice. You may not believe it will happen but the advice has been very clear on here.

The club can’t force you to not play with gimmies as an example

I put cards in when I want too 🤷‍♂️

I have my social fun golf playing with mates and I have competitions and games away where my cards go in

Just need to find out how EG know what you do on a Saturday morning with your mates

EG and indeed the club don’t have the power to tell you how a bunch of mates play together and they certainly don’t have the ability to watch every single group

They only people that have had handicaps suspended are those that have manipulated the handicap system - ironically by putting in loads of cards to manufacture their handicaps

You've had it explained by more than myself and yet to don't wish to comply.. Would be interesting question to ask your club why they aren't enforcing it. They must be aware of the guidelines.

I'm pretty sure the answer to that has been given repeatedly in the previous 27 pages. I can't help if you are effectively putting your fingers in your ears and pretending it's not happening.

Our swindles that i play in have gimmies 🤷‍♂️

There is no club organised roll ups

What is it they aren’t enforcing
Your arguing a point to death that has been discussed in depth on here. People involved in WHS around the country have given their input and their views on here expressing that you and the club aren't complying to WHS guidance. No one here seems to have any issue. Why do you have to keep making the same point over and over? It doesn't change the facts or the opinions of those with WHS input and those that are in roll ups that have taken the advice on board and changed to submitting GP cards. It smacks more of people being afraid to put GP cards in less their handicaps move up and down. Vanity perhaps?

There is no way that EG can tell what a bunch of mates do when they play together

They can’t tell you that you must putt out etc etc

Or people have a clear distinction between having a social game with their mates and playing in a club competition

Why do you think we play gimmies - because it’s just social golf

Not sure why you keep going on about vanity handicaps

Hopefully.
Here's a follow-up question. Rule 21 is titled "Other Forms of Individual Stroke Play and Match Play". It covers Stableford and Maximum Score as forms of Individual Stroke Play. Neither of those require the hole to be completed, ie, ball picked up when net double bogey (zerpo points) or maximum score are reached. Are those forms of play acceptable for handicapping?
