I've thought for a while my accuracy off the tee had been holding my scoring back, but last week I had it confirmed. Played 9 holes and hit every fairway, and scored -1, but missed a 3' putt for -2 on the 9th.
A glimpse of how it could be, and I want more!

Hit the ball a long way and pretty straight but only score well when the wedges are firing. Could probably play off 2 or 3 if my wedges were consistent - playing in volvo matchplay pairs recently and hit 2 yds short of a 330yarder when the fairways and greens were full of puddles and only made par because of my chipping! Couldn't have been more than 10 ft from the hole as well. Think my partner would have been a little more harsh on me if we hadn't made it through

Definitely need to control the Big Dog.
If I hit fairways I score well - simple as that.
Today I hit 10 from 12 - shot a 74.

Report
Tiger started the term as a very enthusiastic student. His punctuality was commendable and the energy and attentiveness he paid to his studies laudable. Sadly his grades did not reflect the dedication he gave to his studies, particularly in Wood Work. Recently, however, we have noticed an increase in absenteeism and a drop in his levels of engagement. Mysteriously, this change in behaviour has actually seen a baffling improvement in his marks. A quite bizarre situation that has occurred too late to affect his Michaelmas report but, if this trend continues, we have high hopes for him in Lent term.

Bash has had a good year but has needed private tuition in order to keep up with the rest of the class. He is not naturally gifted in any of the subjects but has put in the extra effort in order to achieve some reasonable results. He is by no means one of the better students but what he lacks in ability, he makes up for in effort.
