Serious question, if you have asthma and you are aware there is a nasty flu going around and you are going to a Doctors surgery, did you consider or did you wear a mask?It used to be online q&a but the new asthma nurse wanted to do her first one in person
It might of made no difference, but it also may of.
This could be like I went to market and bought.......

If he went to the surgery on Monday, but had full-blown symptoms by Monday night, in all probability he got infected before he went to the surgery.

Flu or a cold? Flu confines you to bed apparently.Went for my annual asthma check up on Monday
Got to the docs and it’s full of people spluttering and sneezing
Monday night started to feel a little ropey , woke up in the middle of the night with full blown flu
Have you had this years flu jab?

According to nhs it takes 1 to 3 days after exposure to the virus for symptoms to begin.

I had a puncture Saturday before Christmas, I could see one puncture , I pumped up the tyre and hoped I could make it in to town before I completely wrecked the tyre by driving with it flat. When I got there the techy found another much worse with a nail through the tyre.
With my last car I at least it had a 'get you there spare' I also kept a full size spare at home which sadly does not fit the new car.

Sounds about right. Today is the first day Ive felt human since last Friday, my lungs are still in absolute bits and having to use the prescription inhaler but good news I’m finally allowed to leave my room tomorrow the dr is allowing me out of Isolation. I will still be avoiding people though!

In 1982 were they not paper licences If that is the case I am fairly sure you need to renew you licence for a photo one.

Just checked and found they are still valid in the UK , however not sure from memory the cause but I had to switch mine to a photo one because some organisation would not accept a paper. (might have been because I was going abroad).

It’s not compulsory to change to a photo license from the old paper one
