Random Irritations

Well who knows the Dr just said they’d be no good to me 🤷🏼

But am now on an inhaler so somethings gotta be wrong.

Antibiotics will only work on a bacterial infection and not a viral infection. Hopefully your doctor is good enough to have spotted the most likely one you have.

There are different types of inhaler, the notes with the medicine will tell you what it is for and the effect it is trying to achieve.

You’ve never had a military Dr have you 😂

I only say that half in jest, as they have identified it’s not bacterial, the inhaler however doesn’t come with notes of what it’s for etc. All our meds come in plain white boxes with absolutely zero paperwork

Here’s 2 aspirins, back to duty with you……… been there 🙄

No electricity for over 23 hours, loads of vans about and many neighbours connected. Last of about 3 houses to go. Grrr, starting to get chilly now. I suppose that I'm glad it wasn't last week in the really cold weather. Hope it's done soon.

wow

If it says on the bottle what it is, such as Salamol*, then the internet should be able to tell you what it is for.

E.g. Salamol (salbutamol sulfate) just widens the airways and helps you to breathe more easily.

Haven’t got kids but MrsA is a secondary school teacher. This has done our heads in for years.
Some teacher dreams up a plan that it’s essential for A-Level students to spend 2 weeks at NASA or Hollywood, knowing they’ll get it cheap or free, while normal parents have to decide whether to sacrifice the annual holiday for the entire family.
It’s not right.
Spending 2 weeks looking after kids 24/7 is not exactly a walk in the park.
No pupil needs anything beyond the school grounds to prepare for any exam.

The wife wanted to grab something from B&M this morning.
We went first thing she went in to get it and I went into Costa next door to get a couple of coffees.
Only person in there and 3 people behind the counter.
One of them says be with you in a minute they then continue to chat while I’m stood there like a Lemon.
I waited 10 minutes then just walked out empty handed.
Guess my money ain’t good enough 😡

Had my first proper irreparable puncture in years a couple of months ago. The new run flat replacement cost about £250.
Health check during a safety recall yesterday identified a nail embedded in the new tyre. The price for the same tyre is now £300.
I hate run flats and not having a spare. Bring back full size spare tyres as standard.

My eldest telling us today she quite likes the name Arthur for her soon to be son. 😳

I don’t put my foot down often but in this case I made an exception
Surely as long as the surnames not Wedge it should be ok 😂

Joking aside that’s not a bad name for a lad trust me there’s a lot worse out there some of the names of my kids friends are horrendous.

As long as she isn't using a surname as a christian name, that's okay. It's one of my pet hates, the Americanisation of names over here  . Names like Arthur have come back into fashion, the old classics.

Honestly, could be soooooo much worse

(I've just seen your next post . Tell her your love Arthur, you were wrong, Arthur is the best :ROFLMAO:)

Spoke with Sky earlier and they offered me a slight reduction in my monthly costs for the same package - all good so far. They say the deal includes a puck so we can watch Sky on another TV. I said there is no need to send this as we don't have another TV. They said that I can only have the deal if I have a puck. I said I don't need one. Then you can't have the deal. Ok, just waste some money and send me the puck and I will put it straight in a drawer and forget about it. What happened to common sense?

I’m hoping she is on the wind up.
Jack and Jim have both been mentioned which I’m happy with.
I like traditional names but apparently I’m a dinosaur .

And her first has a double barrel surname so I’m guessing he will too.

Don’t get me started on that rubbish

My wife works in benefits and sees loads of claims with dodgy names. A lot have gone down the route of having multiple kids with names all starting with the same letter, even if the 'traditional' spelling is different. And some have such weird names, they spell it differently on each form :ROFLMAO:

You can not allow her to have Marshall especially with a double barrelled surname. Hold the payment of the pram hostage until she agrees not to have that name ever 😂
