Random Irritations

I went to our big Tesco this morning. It was very busy but really well stocked and all the customers I encountered were pleasant and polite.
A total lack of drama.
Really irritating.
Where as I took Layla Tash into our local Tesco and it was absolutely rammed. With bloody idiots racing round the car park looking for spaces. Yet ASDA seemed dead. 😳

I had to wait for 30 minutes to get in the M&S food car park this pm. Once in the Q no way out.
But once you get a spot, get your shopping, get back to the car, pop the boot, put your stuff in, isn't it a wonderfully powerful feeling to see the one car waiting for your space in hope, causing a massive backlog?
Then I get in, demist the windscreen for a while, buckle up, connect my phone and say "Alexa, play.....", wait for it to connect as the car that's caused the log jam cracks and drives off, and then I graciously reverse and surrender my space feeling charitable but smug.
😂

Wow - you feel powerful by being like that?

I can think of many other things to call that by tbh.

We had a test drive booked with Jaecoo this morning. They phoned and said we'd have to reschedule, because the person with the test-drive car hasn't turned up today so they don't have it available. What on earth? The staff are driving round in the cars that they use for test drives?? Don't think we'll bother with them after all if this is how they run a business.

Parcel delivery companies yet again! Mrs M ordered a 6ft trestle table 2 weeks ago on next day delivery!

Not a sign of it, tracking updates stated parcel was with the courier at their depot, courier company stating failed delivery based on “needing more info” no info has been asked for, selling company confirms courier have item and emailed us a copy of the couriers collection receipt. Contact courier over and again to be told they have the item but can’t get a driver to accept the item for delivery as it’s too large!

Now means I need to go to Costco again to buy one at a higher cost tomorrow morning (worst possible day to go) and have to put in a claim for refund with my bank as the seller have stated they won’t issues refund as they’ve proved they shipped the item😒

Lucifer, I have no idea where you live, but if you're anywhere near me, I have one you could borrow.
Oh, I'm not far from Guildford. (y)

Odiham so actually not that far a drive to be fair. But we need one for beyond Christmas for a few other bits so it’s going to come in handy having it for the long term so I’ll just have to suck up the inconvenience and go get one.

Cheers for the offer though mate I appreciate it ☺️

My heel is still playing up and we're off to the In-laws tomorrow
190 miles and the furthest I've driven since the heel problem is 20..
So I've had to put The Boy on the insurance for a week just in case.....
Good job it only cost 7 quid😁

I can think of a few words to describe this, but each one would get me an infraction.
And I can’t afford that 😬
