Random Irritations

Baked a ginger cake after golf today. Was rushing to get it finished before picking the girls up

Just realised I missed the milk out

It's okay just not perfect.

Woke up this AM, only to see couple of our windows were fully frosted up... thank god it was from the outside. But had a panic attack and had to google if it is a good thing or a bad thing.
apparently it is a good thing.

But now mildly irritated as to why only 1 window on either side of the house decided to frost up rather than the whole house?

Oh no. Hope you don't feel too poorly with it.
Felt really rubbish yesterday. Feeling bit better today but rather wiped out. Really knackers our plans as no way on Thursday and Friday can I help my BiL set up his art exhibition or visit my MiL in hospital, though trip to Deeside on Sat should be OK…I think.🙄

It’s my money .. I can buy anything.. if a tradesman does not want to show it on his books, I can’t help it

One of my friend suggest that I should walk in and ask for 20k and say ‘I am a professional gambler, and I am at the high roller table tonight’… just to check how much of alarm bells and AML does it trigger .. I am tempted to do it, just looking for a 20k

Far less than when you go back the following day and try and deposit the winnings ;)

Do you guys not know what chocolate is or something?

Having said that, I recently tried something that was called a 'courgette & lime' cake, and to my surprise it was delightful, so I don't know what the rules are anymore.

Receive an email for a shop sale.

Me: Those trainers are nice.

Shop: We have them in men's size 3 and 3.5

Me: OK what about these

Shop: We have them in a size 4.

Me: OK last try, what about those

Shop: Only a size 3 in them.

I do not know anyone who wears shoes of that size but for those who do, they must clear up at sale time as there are some serious bargains to be had.

We have a woman at work who has size 2-3 shoes. She can often fit in kids sizes, cheaper because no vat, and yes, she does do well in the sales 😄.

Companies that push feedback forms that when you complete them you can only enter scores. No free text to be able to actually provide some feedback and suggestions
