Random Irritations

Wow, depending on style they should be well under 1k each, and that’s fitted 😳
Dare I ask what company?
First Home Improvements....last year Anglian Windows quoted a best price of £4,400 for two doors.

Needless to say...we don't mind the drafts at the moment and the fact that the doors look somewhat old....(one of them is!!)

I really don't think you'll get a composite door that cheap.
We had one 3 years ago from a local firm and it was £1600.
I’m in the trade & you can get them cheaper than £1600 depending on style & hardware.
But I wouldn’t say well under £1k.

If the door is exposed to sun a lot (when it’s at its hottest)
I’d avoid dark colours,like black & anthracite.
They are problematic with warping, fading & even cracking.

This bug is absolutely kicking my arse. Been put into 48hr isolation at work so won’t be doing my job this week, instead I have a small cabin room and no outside world 😂

That’s not the irritating part though it’s the general bug itself I feel like I’ve literally taken a beating physically and can’t shift the shivers, the sweats, the headaches or sodding cough 😷

The other 2 in the house are full of lurgy and Joe Soap here has had to go and get Sudafed from the pharmacy...
But they'll only let me have one box of 12 tablets...1 box lasts 1 person 3 days
I know it's the rules etc etc.. but I'll be back in tomorrow for another box.....and if I get it I'll be back on Tuesday too....

Go to another shop and get a box

Make sure you don’t waste the doctors time with it.
People need their notes for golf buggies 👍🏻😆

The irony if I hadn’t seen the Dr I wouldn’t have got the sick note to isolate and would either make other sick or make myself even worse. But I forgot we’re not allowed to go to Drs unless we get permission 😂

Not saying you have it. (Sounds more like flu to me)

My thing this year made me dive for a Covid Test on the second day. Symptoms were so what is like the couple of times I have had it.

I got annoyed the other week. I had picked two boxes of paracetamol and one box of Ibuprofen n Tesco, the self check out would only let me have two boxes two of one or 1 and 1. The local Poundshop does 3 boxes at a single price and I bet if I took 3 of each nobody would query it.
